The company will likely be disappointed with how quickly Mario Strikers tailed off but its lack of acclaim from fans and critics alike will fend off potential buyers.
Sports games continue to perform well as both F1 and FIFA are comfortably high placed with Gran Turismo and WWE 2K22 finding spots in the top 20 long after their releases. The continued success of F1 both in video game form and on television is a great sign for the sport as it continues to grow its fanbase.
