Sonic the Hedgehog creators Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima are back together working on a new game and there is now a Balan Wonderworld demo coming toward the end of January 2021.

Multi Platform Demo Coming Soon
The demo will be released the week commencing January 25th as confirmed by Square Enix and the Balan Company. The demo will come to all release formats; PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The demo will contain a single player mode as well as multiplayer sections for you to get your teeth into.
What Is Balan Wonderworld?
Balan Wonderworld has a look reminiscent of Nights, a game that came to the Sega Saturn and has a Sonic Team feel to it as you might expect. The game is set in different worlds where you tackle diverse platforming levels in bright and colourful enviornments. There are boss fights and different costumes that will help open up new paths to the players and you will find out more when the Balan Wonderworld demo lands!
Release Date
Now we know when the demo arrives but when will the full game be unleashed? It releases on March 26th on all formats.
The Last Word on Gaming Viewpoint
A new game from original Sonic developers is enough to get many in the gaming World salivating over this new game. It has been too long and if this game can capture the essence of Sonic games and even Nights, it could well be a surprise star of 2021.
I miss the days of Sega making consoles and although they still produce some good games, a new, from the ground up project has me really excited.
Let’s hope that they nail this one and we see a glorious return to the halcyon days of Sonic!
