Pokemon GO players are in for a treat, and no trick this October, as Sandile Hatch Day was leaked for 17th October earlier today.

@PokemonGoApp took to their official X account on 17th September 2026 to share a glimpse into October’s festivities this year.

Scoeply shared their plans with max battles, five-star raids, mega raids, and a Shadow Pokémon lineup for the month of Halloween.

They also shared the dates for every event that will go live next month, starting with the Harvest Festival.

The event calendar also features a hatch day event for 17th October. But Scopely didn’t mention the featured pokemon for the event.

On September 18, 2026, @thepokemodgroup took to their official X account to share a leak suggesting that Sandile will be the featured Pokemon for October’s Hatch Day.

Pokemon GO Sandile Hatch Day: Is It Really Happening?

As per @thepokemodgroup on X, the Sandile Hatch Day is scheduled for October 17, from 11 AM to 5 PM. However, Scopely hasn’t confirmed this yet. Therefore, it is suggested that you take this prediction with a grain of salt.

That being said, @thepokemodgroup’s datamines have been spot on lately. Whether it is the asset updates or event leaks, they have been one of the go-to sources for the Pokemon GO community.

Halloween is one of the biggest events in Pokemon GO. Separated into two parts, this event comes bearing some spooky treats for everyone.

Sandile Hatch Day makes perfect sense, as it is a Dark and Ground-type Pokemon. Moreover, we didn’t have a community day or a hatch day for Sandile before.

All eyes now will be on Scopely’s official announcement. As we are in the middle of September, we might have to wait for two more weeks to get confirmation of this leak.

It is highly likely that we will have Pokemon GO Sandile hatch day this October. Given that the dark/ground type species has mostly been locked behind 12km eggs, this will be a great opportunity for trainers to collect the complete shiny evolution line.
