With the next Community Day teased, trainers are buzzing over whether Hisuian Zorua in Pokemon GO will finally get its shiny debut this October.
Earlier today, Scopely shared a video on its official X account, teasing the arrival of Zorua in October Community Day.
Following the spotlight hour back in October 2022, this will be the second time trainers will see clustered Zorua spawns.
This will be the first time players will have a boosted chance to encounter a shiny Zorua in the wild.
Since Pokemon GO has established a consistent pattern of handling Pokemon with regional variants during their community days, the community was optimistic that they would finally see the arrival of shiny Hisuian Zorua in Pokemon GO.
But Pokemon GO’s official announcement of the Zorua community day neither confirms nor denies the possibility of shiny Zorua.

Hisuian Zorua isn’t Confirmed for 2026 October Community Day
On 15th September 2026, 5:30 PM UTC, Scopely took to their official X account to officially announce the Zorua Community Day.
Pokemon GO confirmed that Zorua will be spawning more in the wild during the Community Day hours, and players stand a chance to catch a shiny Zorua with a special background.
The announcement also shares details on the featured Community Day attack and the special research. However, it doesn’t mention anything about Hisuian Zorua and its shiny form.
Zorua, which evolves into Zoroark during and up to four hours after the Community Day, will learn the Fast Attack Sucker Punch.
For US$1.99, players will be able to access the Zorua Community Day–exclusive Special Research, which rewards players with one premium battle pass, one rare candy XL, and 3 encounters with Zorua with special backgrounds, and additional normal encounters.
Last Word on Shiny Hisuian Zorua Coming to Pokemon GO
As things stand, Scopely and Pokemon GO have yet to confirm whether Hisuian Zorua will be available during 2026 October Community Day along with its shiny form.
Whenever a Pokemon with a regional form gets a Community Day, Pokemon GO almost always features both forms simultaneously.
Back in February 2026, when we had Vulpix Community Day, both the Kanto and Alolan Vulpix were wild spawns with Community Day shiny rates.
Given that the month of October is all about tricks and treats, the arrival of shiny Hisuian Zorua might just be a spooky treat from Scopely that we aren’t supposed to know yet.
However, that is a big stretch. Take this with a grain of salt, as Scopely has yet to confirm whether or not we will see shiny Hisuian Zorua in Pokemon GO next month.
