The Disgaea series always takes things to the max, some might even say it takes a satirical stance on some of the more common tropes in RPG’s while remaining entertaining and highly playable. The levelling system is no different as experienced players can gain hundreds of levels at a time with ease.
That’s why the Disgaea 7 level cap is the same as previous entries to the series. The lofty and difficult-to-achieve level 9,999 which can only be achieved by some of the most dedicated players, those who learn the ins and outs of the game’s mechanics and exploit them to the fullest.
You can even reincarnate back to Level 1 if you want the added challenge of going back up in levels after hitting the cap.
