Disgaea 6 Disaster

Disgaea 6 on the Switch was a poor port and caused people to hesitate before picking up the seventh game on the portable console. User reviews for the Switch title on Metacritic are quite poor with many noting freezing, random cuts in audio, poor graphics and more.

One thing was for sure, this time around Nintnedo’s popular console would need to get a better version after fans were left disappointed last time out.

How it Plays

Thankfully, the newest Disgaea release plays well on the portable console. It has remarkably better graphical performance and a lot of the previous issues are absent. There is even an option to optimise the graphics or performance if you so please.

There have been some players reporting that the performance can dip later in the game but as of now those are isolated situations and don’t seem to be a common occurrence.
