A new leak for Honkai: Star Rail has revealed the characters that will arrive in the banners from Update 5.0 to 5.4. Currently, the popular RPG from HoYoverse is in version 4.6, with the 4.7 update expected to release in November. Players are likely to witness the 5.0 update for HSR arriving in February next year.
The latest leak is from Full Stop Chan, a reliable source for all things related to Honkai: Star Rail and other HoYoverse titles. According to a post on Reddit, the 5.0 update will debut alternative versions/kits for Firefly and Misha. Polka Kakamond, Obsidian, and more characters are potentially slated for the next updates.
All Honkai: Star Rail 5.0 to 5.4 Leaked Characters
According to the leak from Full Stop Chan, the following characters will debut in Update 5.0 and beyond:
- Update 5.0: Firefly SP and Misha SP
- Update 5.1: Polka Kakamond
- Update 5.2: Kafka SP and Obsidian
- Update 5.3: Dan Heng SP3 and Xuanquan
- Update 5.4: March 7th SP
Firefly and Kafka are among the most beloved characters in Honkai: Star Rail. They are rumoured to get new forms in the upcoming updates, potentially related to the story arc.
The current version of Firefly wields the Fire element explosively and follows the Path of Destruction. Kafka is one of the earliest characters that does Lightning damage and follows the Path of Nihility.
March 7th and Dang Heng will also receive new forms. Both members of the Astral Express are expected to play major roles in the upcoming story, alongside the Stellaron Hunters Firefly and Kafka.
Polka Kakamond is a member 4 of the Genius Society, known for slaying fellow geniuses and destroying every depiction of herself in the universe. She is a mysterious woman with a static face that has immense power.
Similarly, Xuanquan is an extremely powerful character who serves as an Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Alliance and presides over the Xianzhou Fanghu.

Although all the information is based on a leak, the potential inclusions of new forms for Firefly, Misha, Kafka, Dan Heng, and March 7th will shake up the current meta. Alternate forms rarely share the same Path or Combat Type as the original counterparts.
Firefly’s new version could have a Support role instead of being a fully-fledged DPS character. Likewise, the new form of March 7th may wield the Fire Element instead of Ice or Imaginary.
From Update 5.0 to 5.4, the developers will breathe new life into Honkai: Star Rail by releasing the alternate versions of characters. Additionally, Polka and Xuanquan are expected to be standout 5-star DPS characters that do massive damage with their abilities.
