Developed by NetEase Games and Naked Rain, Ananta release date was confirmed on opening day at Gamescom, after the date reportedly leaked ahead of Day 1.
In the free-to-play open-world RPG, your job is to go viral in the influencer-led world and save the world. Players have to gain a massive following by creating content in order to complete missions in a world that is run by internet algorithms. Similar to Grand Theft Auto, ever since the game was announced, it has grown in popularity in the gaming community. Naturally, the opening night at Gamescom was important for the Ananta fans, as it was supposed to reveal the official Ananta release date.
However, before the opening night, a post on Reddit featuring the Ananta release date went viral. As per the post, 15th January 2027 is the official Ananta release date.
The confirmation came hours later when the official Ananta release date was announced, and it matched the leaked date earlier.

Ananta Release Date Confirmed: The Anime Version of GTA?
While previously compared with the likes of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and others, many believe Ananta is basically the anime version of Grand Theft Auto Online.
