Earlier today, Scopely announced that the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event will be available worldwide, addressing the pressing issues raised by reputed creators of the game over the week.
Following three in-person events, the two-day-long Pokemon GO Fest Global event took place last weekend. In addition to the rotating wild spawns, the raid battles, including super mega Mewtwo, were one of the biggest features this year.
While Saturday went pretty smoothly for the players worldwide, on Sunday, trainers from different regions shared a common technical issue they faced while taking part in the super mega raids.
After the global event wrapped up, Scopely addressed these concerns raised by many Pokemon GO communities, and they announced Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event, which was initially introduced for a few specific regions.
While commending the swift action from the company, notable creators quickly pointed out that the issue affected players worldwide. Moreover, trainers quickly took it to their social media, stating they have invested premium resources during the event, and proper compensation should accompany the make-up event.
Quickly addressing these pressing concerns raised by the community, Scopely took to their official X to share the changes they are going to implement with the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event.

Scopely Makes Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event Changes
Earlier today, Scopely shared an update on Pokémon Go Fest 2026 Make-Up event with the community. The major change in the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event is that it will now be available to every trainer worldwide.
When the company announced the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event for the first time, nine free raid passes were announced as one of the event bonuses. As per the new update, the nine free raid passes have been increased to 12. Players will be able to obtain these passes by spinning the gym discs.
Creators and trainers around the world have taken to their social media to appreciate Scopely’s active involvement in addressing the pressing concerns raised by the community right away.
Other than that, the bonuses and the raid line-up stay the same. While players worldwide have appreciated the steps taken by Scopely, trainers are hopeful of being compensated for the premium resources they invested last Sunday when the technical issue occurred.
Generally, during such events, resources like lucky eggs and star pieces are used by all the trainers to maximize the XP and Stardust from the raids. As of now, Pokémon Go has yet to announce whether they are planning on compensating trainers for these premium resources.
