Scopely has just announced a Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up event for trainers in certain regions, and the community has been buzzing in excitement since the big announcement. For the first time, the global Pokemon GO Fest was free for all trainers worldwide. From the free research story to increased shiny odds, Pokemon GO players enjoyed the two-day global event.
One of the biggest features in this year’s Global GO Fest was the raids. While the trainers joined their local community to enjoy the Super Mega Mewtwo raids to their fullest, in certain regions, players faced a technical issue while attempting to join Raid Battles. The majority of the trainers on social media quickly highlighted this issue.
As compensation, Scopely just announced the Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event for trainers across regions who faced the technical issue. Let’s take a look at what to expect from the event.

Where is the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event taking place?
While the Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event is global, it will be for trainers across Middle-East, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa, and up to and including the UTC+0.
Please note that, unlike the original Pokemon GO Global Fest 2026, the Make-Up event is a one-day feature. It is set to take place on Sunday, 26th July 2026, from 10 AM to 7 PM local time.

Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event Bonuses
On 26th July 2026, during the event, players will be able to collect nine free Raid Passes by spinning a Gym Disc.
All the Pokemon caught from 5 Star and Mega raids during the time have the chance to feature a Special Background.
Link Charge cap will be increased to 2,000. Moreover, the remote raids from July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, at 12:00 p.m. PDT will have no limit.
In addition to all these, there are other bonuses available for trainers who bought the Road of Legends Deluxe Pass.
