Planet Crafter Deconstruct Items Walkthrough

Your first step is to craft the Deconstruction Microchip. The game wants you to do this anyway and gives you the goal of making one. It is easy to make as it only requires one Silicon and one Magnesium to craft.

With the microchip crafted you have to right-click to equip it to your character, by taking out your harvesting tool with this chip equipped there will be an option on the scroll wheel to deconstruct items, looking similar to a sideways hammer.

With this option on, you can approach items and you should see a prompt to deconstruct it, thus allowing you to deconstruct items and declutter your space especially if you want to reshape things for more efficiency.
