Mojang has rewarded Minecraft players with two free pets through treasure hunt rewards to celebrate relentless pickaxing and the extraction of buried treasures.

Other than the Minecraft 26.3 Pre-Release 2, the new in-game treasure hunt has been the latest hot topic in the community.

Already begun on 4th September, the event will conclude on 13th September 2026. To celebrate players’ hunting efforts, Mojang has introduced a Watch Challenge for players.

Fairly easy to complete, these challenges will reward players with two exclusive pets upon completion.

Both of these free Minecraft pets will be attainable for those who finish the Watch Challenge on their respective platforms. To claim both of these free Minecraft pets, you need to have Twitch and TikTok installed on your device.

Steps to get the free Aqua Cool Fish in Minecraft

To get the Aqua Cool Fish, you need to open TikTok on your device and look for a live stream with the Game Reward feature enabled.
Make sure you open the livestream and stay tuned to it for at least 3 minutes.
Once you complete the watch time, a unique redemption code will be sent directly to the TikTok platform.
Now, head over to the Minecraft code redemption page. Make sure you are signed in to the website using the account where you want your rewards to be.
Paste the code into the field and submit it.

Steps to get the free Amethyst Drone in Minecraft

To claim the free Amethyst Drone pet, open Twitch on your device.
Look for a live stream hosted by a Twitch Partner or Twitch Affiliate in the Minecraft section.
Make sure to open the livestream and stay tuned to it for at least 5 minutes.
Once you complete the watch time, go ahead and find the redemption code in your Twitch notifications or Drops inventory.
Now, head over to the Minecraft code redemption page. Paste the code into the field and hit submit.
