KONAMI’s game-building platform, known as Wai Wai World Craft, will allow anyone to create and play games on PC and Mobile.
On 26th September 2025, during the Tokyo Game Show, KONAMI made the first major announcement of Wai Wai World Craft. The game-creation platform was then said to be available on Steam, iOS, and Android.
Despite drawing similarities with Roblox’s game-creation platform, game-building in Wai Wai World Craft will revolve strictly around the Konami characters.
After a year since its initial announcement, on 3rd September 2026, KONAMI finally dropped the official concept trailer at the KONAMI PRESS START Showcase 2026, giving the world a glimpse of what they can expect from this innovative game-making network.

KONAMI’s Wai Wai World Craft: What We Know So Far
The 123-second-long Wai Wai World Craft concept trailer shared quite a few key elements of the game-making platform.
Whether you want to create games or play the games created by others, the platform has something for everyone.
Creators can simply modify the official KONAMI-made base games or make a game completely from scratch.
There are quite a few intuitive building tools that are perfect for beginners. If you want to build a game from scratch but you do not know how to code, you can seek help from the Magic Pod. All you have to do is answer a few simple questions to the system, and it will automatically generate the game for you. From there, you can edit and polish the game as you see fit.
Once you finish building your game in the Wai Wai World Craft, you can publish it with just one click. The whole world will then be able to see and play the games you have created.
The platform connects everyone. Therefore, cross-play between PC, iOS, and Android should be available. However, we haven’t received any confirmation on it.
The greater the Creator’s receiving status, the more popular the creator becomes. Players can further leave comments on your game to showcase support and room for improvement.
As of now, KONAMI hasn’t shared any official date for the availability of the Wai Wai World Craft. However, we know that it will be free-to-play with in-game items.
