Cities Skylines 2 Best Mods List
Line Tool Lite
What an absolute lifesave this one is. The Line Tool Lite, made by algernon and available from the Thunderstore is exactly what it says on the tin. It allows you to easily build in a line with adjustments available for spacing, distance, and angles etc.
Legacy Flavour
A personal favourite courtesy of Cities2Modding allows you to make some UI changes to make the game feel a lot more like Cities 1. A lot of us hate change, so stuff like this that let’s us remodel a game to feel like its predecessor feels right up the alley of a lot of players.
Extra Landscaping Tools
This one from TritonSupreme makes some great additions to the already available tools in Cities Skylines 2. The mod page itself will go through all the changes it makes but just looking at it you’ll realise why it’s earned a spot on this list of Cities Skylines 2 Best Mods.
Renter and Land Value Policy
One issue with this title is it can get very picky about land values and rent prices. Players often find themselves getting warnings for High Rent or No Customers. With this mod from CityPlayer, those are largely thinned out via policy decisions.
Magnolia County
Looking for something a little bit different? The Magnolia County mode from CityPlannerPlays provides you with a promising map to build on with fair ground, plentiful resources, no obstructions, and space to play around with. Use this to just build to your hearts content and make the city of your dreams.
There are so many more that I could’ve added on here but you can find a lot of them via the ThunderStore or other modding communities. Any AI boosts or land value rethinks are an instant eye-catcher for me and likely for you too so check them out.
