Before we step into the month of August, where exciting events and new raid bosses await us, Scopely just shared the official dates of Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2026.
While not traditionally a feature every year, the GO Fest Finale event made its debut shortly after the global version of GO Fest was introduced for the first time. Ever since its introduction, it has been a staple every year.
Despite the day 2 hurdle of Pokemon GO Fest Global 2026, which saw Scopely schedule a Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event on 26th July, we have successfully wrapped up the in-person and global variants of the annual event.
On 28th July, 2026, @PokemonGoApp took to their official X to share the announcement of Pokemon GO Fest Mega Finale 2026.

Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2026 Dates
As per the announcement from Scopely, we will see that the Pokemon GO Fest Mega Finale 2026 will take place on September 5th and 6th this year.
While the details of the event are yet to be divulged by Pokemon GO, based on the ‘mega’ addition to the event title, we can safely assume that mega raids will be a major feature of the event.
Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2026 Leaks
Shortly after the Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2026 dates were revealed by Scopely, @thepokemodgroup took to their official X to share some leaks of the event.
As per the post, we can expect Mega Greninja, Mega Delphox, and Mega Chesnaut to be some of the major features of the game. The leak also suggests that it wouldn’t be the first time we would see those Mega Raids featured in the game.
In addition to all this, some sources suggest that we can also see the arrival of Mega Zygrade in the Pokemon GO Fest Finale 2026. However, since the official announcement is still days away, take these leaks with a grain of salt.
