Pokemon Pokopia Players Can Earn Exclusive Rewards in a New Event

frostbite July 18, 2026

Pokemon Pokopia has a new limited-time event arriving very soon, and the rewards tied to it are already generating interest across the community. The Pokemon Company has officially revealed what is coming, and it involves Zorua, a hide-and-seek contest, and a competitive leaderboard system that makes this one feel different from previous events.

Here is everything confirmed about how this event works and what players can earn in Pokemon Pokopia.

How players can earn exclusive rewards in Pokemon Pokopia

The event is called Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest and runs from July 19 to July 27, 2026. Here is how to get started once it goes live:

  • Head to the Pokemon Center in your town
  • Find Zorua waiting outside the Pokemon Center
  • Talk to Zorua to enter the contest
  • Find Zorua as quickly as possible and keep improving your personal best time
  • The faster the personal record, the better the rewards earned

Special event trophies are confirmed as part of the reward pool, awarded specifically for setting new personal bests during the event window.

Multiplayer and town records in Pokemon Pokopia

Unlike previous Pokopia events, this one includes a multiplayer component alongside solo play. Here is how the town record system works:

  • Join another player’s town to participate in the contest together
  • Everyone in the town can take part simultaneously
  • The fastest time recorded across the group becomes that town’s overall record
  • Only the host receives the town record reward, so choose which town to run the contest in wisely

How the Cloud Island Leaderboard Works in Pokemon Pokopia

The Cloud Island component adds another layer of competition on top of the town system:

  • Every player on a Cloud Island can jump into the contest independently
  • Whoever posts the fastest overall time becomes that island’s record holder
  • Only the player who actually sets the fastest time receives the Cloud Island award
  • Expect competitive speed-running energy here if playing regularly with a Cloud Island group

One practical step worth completing before the event goes live is making sure the game is updated to version 1.1.1, as that version is required to participate when the July 19 update rolls out.

Rewards in Pokemon Pokopia Event

Full reward details beyond the confirmed trophies have not been revealed yet, but given the competitive structure across personal bests, town records, and Cloud Island leaderboards, there is clearly a tiered reward system built around how well players perform rather than just participation alone.
