Recently, Bethesda confirmed that the Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remasters are underway. The roadmap they shared further sheds light on the details of Fallout 5.
Following weeks of leaks, Bethesda took to their official X to update the fanbase what projects they are working on and what the community can expect from them in the coming years.
Xbox is amid major restructuring right now. During this turbulent time, through a note from Bethesda Studios, the company confirmed that they are working on Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remasters, along with other projects. As of now, no dates have been shared by the company yet.
Additionally, they confirmed that Fallout 5 has entered pre-production. The company went on to share updates for Fallout 4 and Fallout Shelter.

The Primary Focus for Bethesda Ahead of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas Remasters
Bethesda shared that Fallout 76 will be getting its next major expansion in 2027, which will be known as Raven Rock.
While there have been updates on many big titles, Bethesda confirmed that as of now, their primary focus is on The Elder Scrolls VI. As of now, the majority of the team is invested in the development of the next chapter of the franchise. The company shared how much they are loving the progress they have made for the next chapter of the franchise.
The work on Starfield isn’t finished either. As a large number of players customize their experience through creations, the company shares its plan on investing in creators and allowing the players to make Starfield their own.
Lastly, it has been announced that there will be no Fallout Day broadcast this year as they have chosen Washington, D.C., for their 30th anniversary celebrations in 2027.
