Bargain Wonderkid Goalkeepers

Ante Vukovic

Playing for lowly Pisa in Serie A, Vukovic has potential, just not the high potential of the game’s best products. He is an interesting choice for players with a lesser budget or outside of Europe’s top five leagues as he will no doubt become a top goalkeeper at most levels if given time to grow.

Kerem Matisli

Bursaspor are a sad tale over in Turkey as financial woes have seen them drop through the divisions and be hit with the occasional transfer ban. This has forced them to rely on youth products like Matisli who has high potential in-game and could be easy to pry from the hands of a team just rebounding to Turkey’s third division.

Silas Huber

Getting in early could be the key here as the 19-year-old plays for FC Zurich. A little-known player in a lesser-known team, his value is unlikely to skyrocket too much. If you can get in early then Huber is another one who can be a very good goalkeeper at a high level, so long as you aren’t aiming to win a Champions League or anything.

Pierce Charles

Playing his football for a finanacially-dire Sheffield Wednesday, Charles is another young talent who you can scoop up for a decent fee. His potential is similar to the other players in this section, he can be very very good if you get the right peak.

Lucca Brughmans/Bas Evers

A double dip into Belgium as the 17 and 16 year olds respectively, are prospects with high potential and should be available for modest fees. Brughmans plays for Genk while Evers plays for Gent. There’s little disparity in their ceiling so either one should be a fine addition to your goalkeeping core.
