Get Bug Net

The first step in the process to catch a seahorse is to get the bug net. This becomes available after completing the Reticent Girl quest in Chapter 2. Serving Maki the required dish will show a cutscene and automatically provide the player with the necessary net.

Locate Seahorse

There is no specific region that you can find a seahorse but it is best to look for colourful coral or vegetation close to the surface. Upon finding a seahorse position yourself above it until you see a prompt to hit spacebar, press the spacebar on your keypad and you will automatically bag a seahorse using the bug net.
