Gears 5 Hivebusters, Sony Delists Cyberpunk 2077, EA Buys Codemasters

On this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX hosts Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison discuss the entire saga surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 from the apology post to being delisted from the PlayStation Store by Sony and everything in-between. They discuss if Sony went too far, should digital return policies be changed after this debacle, and where does the buck stop with CD Projekt Red management. There is a lot of great discussion here about the situation.

Also, Marc talks about how the game has improved after Hot-Fix 1.05 and what he is enjoying about the game. Plus, why he may miss some of the actual glitches that exist currently. While Sean is almost done with Yakuza: Like a Dragon and he also played Chapter 1 of the Gears 5 Hivebusters DLC and it is damn good.

Sean Garmer

Sean Garmer has a long history with video games, since childhood. But truly, things got serious when he discovered Pokemon on the Gameboy, and thus his Japanese RPG fandom was born. Jens Dietrich

Jens is co-host and editor of the podcast Chapter Select and an occasional contributor to Video Games 2 the MAX. While he grew up on 90s PC adventure games and flight simulators, nowadays his preferences have shifted towards Soulslikes, JRPGs, and weird kusoge.
