Smalland: Survive the Wilds is a recent release on Steam that is currently fighting its way up the charts. To get a pickaxe of this variety you will need to craft one. It is made up of 5 of each of the following materials:

  • Resin
  • Fiber
  • Iron Shard
  • Refined Wood

Once you have obtained five of each material you will be able to craft the spike pickaxe. If you’re stumped as to where to find these resources then not to worry I have you covered.

Resin

A golden and orange-colored substance found in plants and saplings

Fiber

Found from chopping down short and tall plants/saplings

Iron Shards

Made by breaking down the scrap metal that can be found to the south of the Black Hornet boss. Requires a Flint Axe to break down.

Refined Wood

Must be crafted using one of each: stonecutter, wood, seed oil. Cut the wood using the stonecutter and refine it with the oil.
