If you are of a certain vintage you may well recall a Sega Saturn series called Cotton Guardian Force which were bright and fast paced games and they are now back to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series. As well as the digital releases their will also be a limited run of physical editions as well to scratch that collectors itch.

The Games

First we have Cotton Boomerang and Cotton 2 which sees you take control of Cotton or her rival Appli. You will fight through various stages that increase in difficulty in dream like worlds as you aim to retrieve the missing bluewater willow. Take on monsters to succeed in these bewitching titles from yesteryear.

Guardian Force is a fast paced side scrolling shooter in the style of games such as G-Darius and the superb Gleylancer.

With collectors editions available on Switch and PS4 there is plenty here in this bundle to please fans of the original games and Last Word on Gaming will deliver our review in the coming week.
