TiMi Studio Group just announced the release date of Monster Hunter Outlanders for mobile devices. The free-to-play open world exploration action RPG will launch globally on 29th October 2026.
Following Capcom’s partnership announcement with TiMi back in 2022, in 9th November 2024, Capcom and TiMi officially announced Monster Hunter Outlanders as a brand-new survival game specifically for mobile devices.
In April 2026, the developers initiated the second closed beta test, collecting performance feedback from the chosen iOS and Android participants. In July, we saw the third closed beta test take place.
Publishers launched the pre-registration drive in August 2026 as the game was entering final phases.
After the Tokyo Game Show 2026 wrapped up, on 29th September 2026, @MHO_English took to their official X to announce the Monster Hunter Outlanders release date for mobile.
As per the announcement, the game is set to launch globally on 29th October, 2026. The announcement came with a 1-minute 20-second-long producer’s message on YouTube.

Classic and Adventure Controls in Monster Hunter Outlanders
The game is designed with a mobile-first philosophy. It aims to cater to both veterans and newcomers. That is why Monster Hunter Outlanders includes both classic and adventure control styles.
The classic layout features a complex button-mapped interface. It gives you complete manual control over your combos, skill triggers, and other elements. You can customize button sizes, transparency, and so much more here.
The adventure mode is designed to help newcomers get up to speed quickly. The combat choices here are simplified into three core options. Here, hard parts of moving and aiming are handled for you so you can focus on when to hit the monster.
Monster Hunter Outlanders pre-registration is live right now. However, as of now, there is no official announcement on what the pre-registration rewards are.
