Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed the appearance of Yujiro Hanma in Tekken 8. The main antagonist from the Baki: The Grappler anime series will be the fourth and final downloadable content (DLC) character from the Season 3 Pass. Interestingly, the character’s teaser trailer features Yujiro giving a wicked smile against a backdrop of moving images of Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi, potentially highlighting a rivalry between the Hanma family and the Mishima family.
After the addition of Bob in August, the kangaroo-and-joey fighter Roger Jr. is set to arrive as part of Season 3. Both Roger Jr. and Yujiro Hanma are confirmed as the upcoming bonus characters, and while waiting for their debut, you can purchase the latest pass for $34.99.
Yujiro Hanma in Tekken 8 confirmed by new trailer
Yujiro Hanma in Tekken 8 possesses his traditional manga and anime look. The trailer features the character with his signature massive build, reddish-brown hair, intimidating hyper-chiseled face, and dark eyebrows. He also has great flexibility, despite his muscular stature, which could be favorable for his performance in the battleground.
Yujiro will make his debut after the punching master Roger Jr. While the marsupial has a confirmed debut date of November, the member of the Hanma family will arrive in January next year.
Here are all the Season 3 Pass characters and their release dates:
- Kunimitsu: June 1, 2026
- Bob: August 19, 2026
- Roger Jr.: November 11, 2026 (Early Access)
- Yujiro Hanma: Winter 2027
Roger Jr. will be in Early Access for several days, with its full release occurring on November 16. Yujiro Hanma does not have an exact release date, although his gameplay trailer is scheduled to arrive in late January 2027.
The Tekken 8 Season 3 Pass currently costs $34.99/âš2909/âŦ34.99. Apart from the four bonus characters, it includes the Subsea Lockdown Battle Stage, the Aurora Outfit Pack featuring 44 designs, and 5-day early access for future downloadable content.
Last Word on Yujiro Hanma in Tekken 8
The impending arrival of Yujiro Hanma in Tekken 8 is big news for both fans of Baki and the game. The Strongest Creature on Earth has a combat style where he uses his devastatingly powerful and long limbs to overwhelm enemies. If the developers accurately create his fighting style before releasing him in Tekken 8, the reach and raw power of Yujiro could be a threat to powerhouses like Kazuya, Jin, Paul, Dragunov, and Nina.
For veteran players, the Season 3 Pass is a must-buy due to its contained playable characters. Purchasing the pass will automatically unlock Kunimitsu and Bob, while Roger Jr. and Yujiro Hanma are on the list of upcoming fighters.
