The Most Wanted DLC for Ghost of Yotei features Atsu, the protagonist, taking bounties of escalating difficulty to earn special coins. Instead of a classic story expansion, the DLC is a roguelike mode that puts a player’s survival and weapon mastery to the test. Each run forces you to adapt by changing stances and weapons to defeat the waves of enemies, progress to the mini-boss, and eventually reach the main boss.
After several runs with Atsu, you can unlock and select Oyuki, Nagato, and Jin Sakai as playable characters. Each character has a diverse set of weapons, Ultimates, and Kill Streaks to hunt enemies.
Characters in Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted
Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted is included in the Complete Edition of the game, alongside the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC. You begin the mode as Atsu and complete bounties to gain special perks as well as rewards. To begin a run, collect a bounty from the Bounty Board and slash away at the waves of enemies and minibosses.
There are four playable characters in Most Wanted. While Atsu is available for free, the others are unlocked only after you spend a certain amount of Mon on upgrades, skills, and other purchases.
Atsu
The starter character in Most Wanted. She can wield dual katanas, use bombs, and call wolves to attack enemies. Atsu’s Ultimate is Call of the Pack, which allows her to summon two wolves, and her Kill Streak is Onryō’s Howl, which terrifies nearby enemies and causes one to run away.
Oyuki
Unlocked by spending a total of 3500 Mons. Oyuki has kusarigama (katana), kunai, and tanegashima (rifle). With her Shadow Killer Ultimate, she unleashes smoke to quickly assassinate two nearby enemies. Her Kill Streak is Shadow Shinobi, which summons a Nine Tails ally.
Nagato
Unlocked by spending a total of 10200 Mons. This character has yari (spear), tanzutsu (pistol), yumi (long bow), and hankyu (short bow). His Ultimate is Gambler’s Mark, which fires guaranteed headshots at two enemies, while his Kill Streak is Blast Arrow, which refills his Concentration and grants an explosive arrow.
Jin
Unlocked by spending a total of 28800 Mons. The protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima, Jin uses Sticky Bombs, a hankyu (short bow), and a katana with all four original stances from the previous installment of the Ghost franchise. His Ultimate is Dance of Wrath, which disarms multiple enemies, and his Kill Streak is Ghost Stance, which allows him to terrify enemies around him.

Mon, the currency exclusive to Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted, is earned by killing enemies and collecting bounties in the mode. Note that all cosmetics purchased with Mon are also unlocked in the main game.
How to Play Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted
Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted has straightforward gameplay. Every main bounty in this mode culminates with a fight against one of the members of the Yotei Six. The most challenging bounty is issued on Lord Saito, and to defeat him, you’ll need to craft the perfect build by using perks on weapon mastery, gear loadouts, summons, parries, survivability, and more.
The six bounties related to Yotei Six are as follows: Hunting the Spider, Hunting the Kitsune, Hunting the Oni, Hunting the Snake, Hunting the Dragon, and Hunting Lord Saito.
Each bounty challenge has six stages. A mini-boss appears in the third stage, followed by the main boss in the final stage. Strategically select perks to conquer the Yotei Six with your weapons.
Last Word on Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted
Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted is a great addition by Sucker Punch Productions. Albeit exclusive to the Complete Edition, it gives a spin to the traditional DLC model by bringing a new mode instead of expanding the story. Each character in Most Wanted has their own unique weapons and techniques that you can master while adapting your playstyle.
