The massive Steam Leak that has rocked the gaming sphere revealed a number of details about upcoming and unreleaed games. One such victim was the upcoming Persona 4 Revival, an updated remaster of Persona 4 Golden from a few console generations back, there have been some additional bits of content that are now available to digest, hinting at some extra characters and content in the newest release.
Persona 4 Revival Leaked Content Revealed
According to the new achievements page on Exophase, the game contains a lot of the usual content. There are a number of social links, seemingly multiple endings based on the wording of one achievement. But what jumped out the most was ‘I Heart Inaba’ a task that notes “Helped Aika and Hanako in their search for the truth”
This is our one big hint at additional content that can’t be found in any other version of Persona 4. Notably, one of these characters has only been seen in the animated Persona 4 show. Their inclusion with an achievement attached would indicate some additional gaming content for the players, something that’s been common in new variants as Persona 5 Royal added an extra ending and some new areas, similar to Persona 3 Reload.
The Last Word
While the remake of a remake has proven to ba controversial decision from ATLUS, particularly after the milking of Persona 5. This leak at least provides some of the more hardcore fans with hopes that there will be something fresh and new to explore in Revival. The expectation is the combat system will be overhauled anyway but new characters and stories to unravel is the heart of the Persona series and fans can start looking forward to what will happen with Aika and Hanako until they get their hands on the game itself.
