Pokemon Unite will turn 5 in July this year, and The Pokemon Company is looking forward to celebrating with the trainers by adding four new legendary Pokemon into the game.
While the complete details of the anniversary events and rewards are yet to be divulged, on June 26, 2026, @PokemonUnite took to their official X to share the date of anniversary celebrations. In addition to that, the TiMi Studio Group also announced the arrival of four new licenses in the game.
Following the arrival of the Johto starters into the game through April and May, the game just saw the introduction of Skeledirge and Quaquaval.
While these newest additions have kept the community and ranked lobby buzzing in excitement, the forthcoming legendaries announced yesterday have been the hot topic.

4 New Legendary Pokemon Coming in Pokémon Unite 5th Anniversary
The Pokémon Unite 5th Anniversary begins on 21st July 2026. Through the video shared on the official YouTube channel of Pokemon Unite, the TiMi Studio Group revealed the four legendary pokemon coming into the game.
On 3rd July, 2026, we will see the arrival of Yveltal. The attacker is perfect for the trainers who like to deal damage from distance during teamfights and solo clashes.
On 17th July, 2026, Palkia will arrive in the game. While the legendary Pokemon’s role hasn’t been confirmed yet by the game, rumors suggest Palkia will be an all-rounder.
After Palkia, we will see the introduction of Reshiram. Rumored to be an attacker, it will be released on 7th August, 2026.
On 21st August, 2026, Solgaleo makes its debut in Pokemon Unite. These are all four licenses announced by the game so far.
In addition to the new licenses, the game will arrange an event where players can take part and obtain license art, holowear, and up to 5,000 license points.
As the celebrations are on the horizon, we can expect more details of the anniversary event soon.
