This Paralives Something Happened in Town guide will detail what could happen when that alert appears. Paralives is a life-sim aiming to offer a similar experience to The Sims but as many are unable to realise that they are two different games, the newer or less standard mechanics of Paralives have caused some confusion. Paralives has been released as an early access title with the price increasing as they near the full release so June 1 may be as cheap as it ever comes. It has been reviewed very positively by players over on Steam so far.

Paralives Something Happened in Town Alert Walkthrough
A lot of players have noted and been confused by the alert that something has happened in town, usually at random times. They then tend to try and find out why this is and what to look for. The alert tends to be more of a general thing with no one specific purpose related to you or your stories.
It’s a bit of a letdown but this alert can be for something as small as town-wide vandalism meaning you’d have to look pretty hard to see any effects. If you’re lucky like some players you could get the meteor strike and see the meteor damage somewhere in town, if not, it’ll be a bench. If you check the newspaper the morning after it’ll inform you if it was the meteor or not. The meteor can be picked up and sold if you make your way to the crash site so be sure to check the newspaper the day after you get this alert.
