When it comes to training focus on a small core group, preferably the first two characters you get and one child character to do some of the special missions. This keeps things easier for you to manage and makes equipment, items, training point allotment much easier.
You can get free gear by recruiting new players and swapping out their higher-level clothing and equipment for low-level placeholders and then giving this high-level equipment to your core players. I managed to get the majority of the best clothing in the game with this strategy.
Focus on building and upgrading facilities to keep a steady flow of training points coming. Matches earn very little by way of rewards while solid facilities and a high number of members will allow you to farm training points at a strong rate.
Feel free to level up as many different sponsors as possible even if its by playing weaker tournaments using worse-quality equipment. You never know what that sponsor path could unlock once it’s at a high level.
I would recommend playing each fixture at least twice, once with your MC and again with the second player you chose for your core lineup. Preferably this would be one male and one female. This allows you to be prepared for the introduction of Doubles matches and tournaments instead of having one levelled-up player and one who’s weaker.
At the highest level court type matters more than ever as everyone is so good its hard to gain an edge when at a disadvantage on the court. Once this starts to become an issue you can focus your attention on training specialists in different court types as improvements to your core players will likely have little to no effect by that stage in the game.
