For the easiest start you can pick between two different regions with weaker opponents, these are NE and PL which have teams that you can beat pretty easily even at higher level tournaments.

Personalities are quite important in this game and come with their own buffs and debuffs that should be taken into account. This comes into play when creating your MC who should have the Smiler personality which offers an exp. boost for every game. Considering you’ll play a lot of games this will build up over time and make your created player very strong.

You can trick the system a bit at the end of a game, if you’re winning comfortably that is. At the bottom of the final inning, you can bring on your less experienced or weaker players and they will earn exp. just from playing part of the match. This is important as it is important to note that ALL players will leave after 3 years so you need to have new players ready.

Improving drills is a worthwhile investment.

Put sports buildings next to the practice fields to offer a boost to the impact of training.
