Avoid Clusters

Due to the abilities and strengths of the Vortex the typical strategy of having big clusters of monkeys dealing damage or de-buffing enemies won’t work against this MOAB. This is largely because of its shields which can block attacks of itself and any bloons surrounding it, meaning some can slip through your defences if they’re not spread out properly.

What to Use

Ranged units like the Sniper Monkey are going to be essential to wearing down the Vortex. Specifically, you can also use the Ray of Doom or Plasma Accelerator to help do damage too.

Banana Farm Use

The Vortex can do a lot of damage to your banana farms which could be the key difference between victory and defeat. Keep them as far away from the path of the Vortex as possible to keep getting the most out of your banana farms.
