Crying Table Guide for Persona 3 Portable

Where and When

You come across the Crying Table as a mini-boss on the 25th floor of Tartarus. There are three enemies to face with your team which may comprise of the original three SEES members or could include Akihiko if you hold off on progressing in Tartarus until he is available.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The Crying Table is resists Slash and Pierce attacks, drains Fire, and completely Nulls strikes, Light, and Dark attacks. Its only weakness is Ice while other elemental attacks will do normal damage to it.

Level

This boss is Level 14 and has 260 HP. Its magic stat is quite high meaning its agi attacks are particularly vicious.

Tips

The MC is the only character with access to Bufu at this point which means your choice of persona is very important for this fight. Apsaras is a persona found in block 1 with no exploitable weakness against Crying Table and the Bufu ability, other Persona’s with Bufu at this stage of the game tend to be weak to agi which will leave you wide open for knockdowns and combo attacks

Junpei is a great team member to bring for this fight as he is strong against Agi, although his attacks likely won’t do much damage to the boss he is an extra body to take hits and heal with items if needed

Rely on your Bufu and take this one down.
