The souls-like, action game has some elements of character building with a heavy emphasis on improving your stats correctly as you progress. One thing that has left people stumped is this Motivity vs Technique debate as players don’t fully understand the difference between the two and which one is better. That’s where I come in with this explanation of each side.

Lies of P Motivity vs Technique

Motivity

Motivity could be considered another word for strength or blocking. While the name may seem like it’d be based around mobility it is actually more about absorption. It also pairs better with heavy weapons.

Technique

Technique would usually be tied to how well you do something but in Lies of P, it is more akin to Dexterity/Agility. If mobility is blocking, then technique is dodging. It pairs well with light weapons compared to the heavy weapons of MOtivity.

Motivity vs Technique: Which Should You Choose

The better stat for you is entirely dependent on your style of play. If you prefer to block and use heavy weapons then improving Motivity is a good way to improve your character and chances of success.

On the other hand, if you prefer to be difficult to hit and want to pepper enemies with strikes before getting out of danger then technique is the one to improve.
