Signature Signings Mini Release Review

Published on:

As Black Friday weekend came to a close, three more Signature Signings were released on Sunday, and each could easily make their way into your latest team.

Signature Signings Mini Release Review

Edouard Mendy

Celebrating his transfer to Chelsea, Edouard Mendy joins the promo with an excellent goalkeeper card that features a triple 88 stat.

Mendy is one of those keepers that is extremely reliable on FIFA. Being 6’6”, he is great from corners and hard to beat with 30-yard finesses.

Unless you are running a Premier League team, he will be hard to link. One option however is linking him to POTM Kalidou Koulibaly, which is a great way to start a hybrid.

Marcos Llorente

The best La Liga midfielder now has an even better card.

Leaving me terrified for the upcoming weekend league, Marcos Llorente’s excellent qualities as a box-to-box midfielder make his 500k price tag understandable.

I’d still take Frenkie De Jong personally, but Llorente is a great option if you have coins to splash because he offers some excellent links all round.

Ruben Dias

An amazing 15 pace upgrade makes Manchester City’s star CB even more usable!

Despite his base card having only 61 pace, Dias’ card was already excellent with high defending and physical stats.

But now with this upgraded card, you are looking at one of the best centre-backs on the game. When given a shadow chemistry style, he becomes a top tier Premier League option.

The Last Word on Gaming Viewpoint

The Signature Signings Promo was the most entertaining we have had this year. Sadly however, the cards did not have signatures on them like we wanted.

Hopefully EA release some variation in the players that get promo cards this year, but the inclusion of Mendy, Kramaric and Karlsson gives us all hope that they will.
