24 Entertainment announced the first-ever competitive tournament for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. The NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship (NWBC) will take place in Singapore and will start on January 13th, 2022.
Inaugural NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship Coming In January
Trios that were victorious in regional play qualified to make it to the World Championship. Those who qualified will be playing to win ‘The Ancient Cup’ along with a grand prize of $1.5 million USD.
The championship will be live-streamed from January 13th to January 16th, at 4 PM (GMT+8), every day on the official NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Twitch Channel, and on Facebook.
The World Championship will be streamed in English on Twitch. Vietnamese audiences will be able to tune in via Facebook and NimoTV.
Livestream viewers on Twitch, Facebook, and NimoTV are eligible to win exclusive in-game NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship items.
The qualifiers will consist of teams from all across the globe, ranging from North America, Europe, South East Asia, and Asia. Amongst those competing for glory are four pro teams, consisting of Nigma, Alliance, NOCT & LDLC OL. There will also be another twelve teams from mainland China.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is a PC battle royale game. It was developed by 24 Entertainment and published by NetEase Games. The game was released on August 11th, 2021, and season one ran until November 10th, 2021. The second season began on November 11th, 2021, and is currently running. The first season offered 110 levels while the current season offers 130 levels.
The game takes place on “Morus Island” and offers solo and trio gameplay. Nine different characters are available for players to choose from.
