Pokemon GO Wild Area is heading to Sendai and Mexico this year, along with its Global Event. The Citywide events are set to take place simultaneously, with the global version of the event scheduled seven days after the in-person events are wrapped up.
While the community gears up for Pokemon GO Fest 2026 Make-Up Event, Scopely announced the initial details of the late-year event that allows trainers to encounter, train, and battle powerful pokemon.
Last year, the in-person Pokemon GO Wild Area took place in Nagasaki, Japan. This year, the celebrations are doubled as the event kicks off in Sendai and Mexico simultaneously. A week later, we will have the global Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 event.

Pokemon GO Wild Area Event Details
The announcement revealed the dates for the in-person Pokemon GO Wild Area event. Players can play the in-person events in Sendai and Mexico from 6th November to 8th November. The global Pokemon GO Wild Area Event will be a two-day special scheduled for 14th to 15th November 2026.
As of right now, the details of the ticket for both in-person and global events have not been shared. The announcement mentions that the tickets for Pokemon GO Wild Area Event will be available after the beginning of the next season.
As of right now, we are in the Forever Forward season, which is set to wrap up by 8th September, 2026. Therefore, expect the tickets to be out after that date.
What to expect from the Pokemon GO Wild Area Event 2026?
As of now, no details regarding the Pokemon GO Wild Area Event wild spawns, raids, or bonuses have been shared by Scopely. However, based on past events, we can expect Dynamax or Gigantamax battles to be one of the marquee features of the event.
Moreover, we can also expect mighty pokemon to be a feature during both the in-person and global Pokemon GO Wild Area Events in 2026. Expect good IVs in wild spawns and a lot of fun doing battles and raids.
