Apex Legends and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are crossing over in what is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious limited-time collaborations the game has seen. The event brings genuine gameplay additions alongside a full aesthetic overhaul, and the detail that has gone into both sides of it is worth paying attention to.

Apex Legends x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners event details breakdown
The E-District map gets a full Night City makeover
While the E-District’s overall structure remains, expect to be treated to a full Cyberpunk overhaul of Night City throughout the course of the event, complete with giant glowing neon buildings, swimming holographic koi fish and glitching out corporate banners all across the map.
Two new Cyberware abilities are coming to Wildcard lobbies
Two brand new gameplay abilities called Cyberware Mods are coming exclusively to Wildcard lobbies, pulling directly from Cyberpunk augmentation concepts:
- Sandevistan: It lets players execute fast, multi-directional dashes and chain two in a row to close gaps or escape danger quickly.
- Blackwall Breach: It allows players to briefly phase into the Net to reposition, then return with an EMP blast that cracks enemy shields and reveals their location.
Both are Wildcard-only, keeping ranked and standard modes unaffected while giving players a proper space to experience the mechanics.
Eight character skins and the full cosmetic lineup
The crossover brings eight premium character skins to the game, each pairing a legend with a specific Cyberpunk: Edgerunners character:
- Sparrow as David Martinez
- Axle as Lucy
- Lifeline as Female V
- Crypto as Male V
- Rampart as Rebecca
- Loba as Panam
- Ash as Lizzy Wizzy
- Gibraltar as Royce
Weapon skins and Mythic cosmetic
The collaboration also includes the Mythic Skippy Alternator, inspired by the Skippy smart gun from Cyberpunk 2077. It features interactive voice lines that trigger during knocks and endgame moments.
New weapon skins are also confirmed for:

- L-STAR

- R-301

The Reward Shop and how Eddies work
Throughout the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners event, players will earn Eddies, the in-event currency, which can be spent in the dedicated Reward Shop. Confirmed items in the shop include the Arasaka Flight Protocol Epic Valkyrie Skin and the Kang-Tao Specter Epic Mirage Skin, alongside additional items yet to be fully detailed.
