The Game Awards 2023 brought a surprise for fans in the form of Marvel’s Blade. Unfortunately, the game appeared canceled. But now, there’s finally a ray of hope!

Marvel’s Blade Developer Reassures Fans

After the most recent 2025 TGA event, Marvel’s Blade’s announcement completed two years! During this time period, fans received nothing major from Arkane Lyon. Reports pointed towards internal conflicts – foreshadowing signs of a project that is about to be canceled. Right when everyone was seemingly giving up, a journalist took to X and asked for an update from developers working on the Marvel Games project.

Out of all accounts tagged in the tweet, @jlmonnet’s reply caught everyone’s attention. Jean-Luc, who works as a lead concept artist and art director assistant replied with a simple GIF from the popular TV show Breaking Bad. The GIF features Walter White with the on-screen caption reading “Let us cook.”

This tweet works as a reassurance for fans worried about Marvel’s Blade. A project that was presumed canceled now has a ray of hope to keep the community looking forward to it!
