Dead as Disco Items Guide

This Dead as Disco items guide will explain where to find every item that is needed for progression in the game. There are some at almost every stop you’ll make in the title so that’s where I come in to help cut down on time spent searching for key items. Dead as Disco is a rhythm-focused beat ’em up-style game that has been reviewed positively by players over on Steam.

Dead as Disco Items/Collectables Walkthrough

 Dex

Dex is the first person who’ll prompt you to find things in order to continue. First, Dex will ask for a Pocket Reactor. This is found by replaying Dex’s stage, the Pocket Reactor is in the top left-corner to Dex’s right and can be seen pretty much right away.

The next item he will ask for is Song Notes. In the Encore take the stairs down by the bar and continue right until the door marked MAKE A SCENE. The notes are hidden behind some cardboard boxes in the corner.

The final item for Dex is an issue of Guitar Soldiers. In the pyramid boss fight in Dex’s story this issue is found in the corner of the stage.

Prophet

Prophet will also have the player running around in a bid to find three important items for storyline progression.

He will ask for a D.E.D photo, it is found in Prophet’s story level on top of a car to his right. By running into the car and the level wall you will be able to collect it even if it looks out of bounds.

Prophet will then claim he wants to hear new tunes and you will have to search for Wish by Onimaru. You have to play through this song on Infinite Disco and unlock it so you can play it on the jukebox for Prophet.

The final ask from Prophet is for a poster of young Stix. During the bouncer fight if you look in the right corner by the wet floor sign you can find it.

Hemlock

Hemlock is the third different person involved in this loop and will also send you to get three items.

He will first ask for an advertisement for Power Juice. This is found by replaying the first level of his story and going left as soon as the level starts toward the vending machine.

Next is Spray Cans. At the first section of Prophet’s stage the Dead End Drive, go to the right of the wall seen being graffiti’d in the intro cutscene until you see the spray paint can with its orange tint.

Hemlock will ask you to get him back on stage which involves playing Infinite Disco and completing the Double Trouble challenge.

Arora

Our final task giver. Arora (also called Rori) will ask for a Bonsai Tree. Go back to Prophet’s stage and complete the Bouncer fight. There is a bonsai tree to the left of the stage, by the velvet rope.

You’ll then be asked to get an issue of Business World which is found in Hemlock’s stage in the train tracks section. It’s easy to miss as it is leaning against a wall on the track part itself on the left side, by the barrier.

The last item to collect is a picture of Rori and her best friend. This is found in Rori’s own story section, there’s a very memorable place with mannequins and purple fog. Go to the back of this space and on the far right there’ll be a slightly hunched over mannequin with it taped to its back.
