You’ll likely stumble onto this one naturally but just in case you haven’t, use the toilet in the jail cell. You’ll be given a challenge to investigate the leak which you have to pass to start the actual mission.

From then you’ll have the option to try and disassemble the toilet, but this can only be done with the necessary tools during nightly lockdowns when your roommate is asleep. This means you’ll have to juggle the added tiredness of less sleep with avoiding being caught.

You can speed up this process by getting better tools like the screwdriver and some players note that moving to a solo jail cell removes the roommate aspect but that can be a timely move. Earning your own cell requires doing a lot of good work for the main guard.

Even when you’ve successfully disassembled the toilet you have to get the materials to make the bed and make a dummy to distract the guards. Once you’ve got this done you have to wait until lockdown to place the dummy in the bed before removing the toilet and embarking on the next mission.
