TEW IX Save Ideas for CVerse

USPW World Domination: Easy

USPW are the biggest promotion in the world. They’ve got the cash, a product that allows you to push anyone with a modicum of charisma even if they suck in the ring, and a women’s division, which sets them apart from SWF and TCW.

Despite this USPW’s domination is largely focused in America and Canada, for this challenge your goal is to take on the world and overtake Europe, do battle with EILL in Mexico, try to outlast 21CW in the UK, and of course go head to head with RAW in Australia.

How you do this is your own choice, be it a slow and steady build up, aggressive signings in new markets, or some combination of the two.

CWA Joins the Big 3: Easy

For a long time, North America has been split between the three-way battle in the US, and the CGC/NOTBPW war in Canada. With the merger between CGC and NOTBW, CWA has been left as the undisputed biggest promotion in Canada.

The goal of this challenge is to expand into America and join the fight between SWF/TCW/USPW. In TEW IX, the Canadian fed is well set to make a big push with super ace and mega babyface Aaron Knight being one of the game’s best figureheads, a strong supporting core of main eventers including Ed Stone and Cameron Vassey, as well as veteran DeColt’s floating around to put over your next generation of top stars.

With expansion comes new threats including your talent being primed for poaching but CWA are a juggernaut who could easily join the fight for dominance in the US of A.

Saving 21CW: Medium

Despite being the biggest company in all of the British Isles, 21CW are in trouble. While the AI has little trouble with them, real players have found this to be one of the toughest and most demanding companies in the game.

The 5 storyline requirement means you need at least 10 wrestlers who can carry hot storylines at all times. Tommy Cornell is one of the best stars on your hands but he’s getting older and has one eye on the exit door, meanwhile the new gen of stars including Leigh Burton may not be able to shoulder the workload.

21CW has a roster bloated with useless wrestlers on contracts siphoning money from the company, it has less top stars than you need to grow, and it has a difficult product for pushing new stars, can you be the one to turn it around with ease?

Overhauling PGHW: Medium

Again, we have major companies in need of some serious overhaul. Japan is currently primed for some big shifts in the CVerse. EX2010 have young talents and some cash in hand to make a push, BCG are steadily growing and raking in money, and WLW has one of the most incredible young cores in the entire game.

Then you look at PGHW, a company with money problems, a toxic backstage, and an overreliance on an elderly ace. Things need to change, and fast. BHOTWG isn’t rosey either but in comparison, is much more settled than PGHW.

Navigating the rebuild of PGHW will be difficult, especially as you look to build up new main event-level stars while fending off both Burning Hammer and the rising companies.

Everyone Loves a Comeback: Medium

With some quick editing, you can bring back beloved companies like DAVE, OLLIE, or AAA. In this challenge you have to bring back one of the currently defunct companies and try to turn things around and make it a success.

For DAVE, you’ll have a crowded American scene with PSW doing your schtick but better, OLLIE has a wealth of free agent talent in Mexico to go after but a looming EILL to worry about, while AAA is a women’s-only company and will have a limited range of talents to pick from.

Finding success with these fan-favourite brand might be tough enough, but for a real challenge get left field with it and try to rehabilitate Ring of Fire in a crowded UK indie scene.

Overthrow RAW: Hard

Yep, once again RAW is the top dog of Australian professional wrestling. Unseating them requires patience and some acumen. You can take over the already established names like APW or DIW, but Australia might need a brand new company with new ideas to truly challenge RAW.

Can you make the most of a country stocked with talent but constantly worried about talent raids from RAW? Try your hand and find out.

Insignificant to Titanic: Impossble

The smallest size a company can possibly be is Insignificant, this is for the companies that can barely pull 100 people to shows and have trouble filling out a card without repeat bookings. The goal of getting a promotion, likely a created one, to become a Titanic-sized superpower in the world of wrestling is as difficult as you’d imagine.

Simply growing at the smaller sizes is a practice that requires a lot of patience to balance running quality shows with your small finances. Then if you manage to survive for long enough you’ll run into regional battles and national battles to make your climb even more difficult.

Only the best TEW players can pull this off, not only because of the difficulty but also because of the time it takes to make it work due to all of the challenges it presents.

For an even harder kick, try and do this with one of the less appealing product types, are you making Grindhouse Lucha a mainstream thing? or perhaps the vague No Style Style!
