The puzzle from Chapter 4 Level 9.1 in Viewfinder has proven tricky. Viewfinder has been a hit due to its mind-bending story style and puzzling gameplay. While some of the puzzles are fine, the Watermelon puzzle found in Chapter 4 Level 9.1 has proven difficult. That’s where I hope to come in with this solution.

Chapter 4 Level 9.1 Guide for Viewfinder
You’re tasked here with weighing a Watermelon, yes getting the weight of a Watermelon. The issue that players are running into is that the Watermelon doesn’t weigh enough to pass the level. Meaning you have to add more weight to the scales
That is where the confusion comes in for most people. There is only one object, you can’t just place other heavy items on the scales for balance, there’s no clear directive on how to make the Watermelon weigh more. So then, what is the actual solution?
The photography machine of course. You’ll notice this on the right hand side of the scales. Take a picture using this machine and return to the Watermelon, you may notice that you’re prompted to cut the melon, which will slice off one of the ends.
Pick up the now headless object and place it in a spot that is visible to the Photography Machine, making sure that the cut end is facing the ground so it doesn’t roll.
Take two pictures of the sliced Watermelon using the photography machine and use these pictures to create two new Watermelons. Take the two created objects to the scale and you will notice they now weigh enough to pass the level.
Head to the teleporter next to the scales to finish the level.
