On the opening night of Gamescom 2026, Monster Hunter Outlanders unveiled Elder Dragon Ruder Aidal and radiant monsters.
Before the grand announcement at Gamescom 2026, Monster Hunter Outlanders carried out the 3rd closed beta test for selected players. This allowed the developers to polish the combat and game mechanics ahead of the media push.
Following a closely coordinated teaser campaign and testing phase, TiMi and Garena revealed the flagship monster, Ruger Aidal, for the mobile hunting RPG.
The very first Elder Dragon to appear in Monster Hunter Outlanders, the golden shimmering scale and lion-inspired mane make the Ruger Aidal look just like the second sun while it is airborne.
The overall design of the Ruger Aidal mimics traditional royal iconography. While hanging vertically in the air and looking down at the battlefield, the calculated posture of Ruger Aidal makes it interestingly intimidating.
