The Hood was first featured in the Marvel Rivals Season 9 trailer. After Apocalypse was murdered at the end of the video, the screen cuts to black and Parker Robbins can be seen walking, claiming that Mutants, Gods, absolutely nobody beats The Hood. He is also featured on the new Home Screen when logging into the game and was first spotted in-game when the third Death of Apocalypse event case started. Now, we have a fully rendered in-game model of him before he even dropped as a playable hero on the roster.
Finding The Hood in Marvel Rivals Season 9
Thebes released as a playable map in Marvel Rivals Season 9 on July 24, 2026. The new map offered new playmaking opportunities with some team compositions that can dominate the new Convoy map. If you spawn on the Attacker’s side, you are in for a surprise if you look hard enough. This is because The Hood is hiding in the first Attacker’s spawn.
When the Attackers first spawn in and are facing the main exit, they need to note the following steps to see The Hood:
- Turn around, and you will see some stairs leading up to a platform which is headed deeper into the spawn.
- Ignore the stairs leading up. Instead, look to the right of that platform; there will be a staircase heading down. So, these stairs are present out in the open, and you don’t need to exit the main courtyard to see them.
- Once you take the stairs to the basement, you will find Parker Robbins locked in a traditional-looking cell, sitting on a bench in a business suit and his iconic “hood”. The wall behind him reads “Long Live The Hood”.
The in-game model for The Hood looks absolutely massive when compared to most Duelists on the roster, suggesting that he could be a Vanguard. While Marvel Rivals hasn’t officially confirmed anything as of Season 9, data miners have found that he is listed as a tank in the game files. Players will still have to wait until 7th August to finally play as him.
