Epic Games Store has revealed what games will next join its free giveaways. Next week will be two additional titles given away for free on the store, continuing Epic’s ongoing tradition of giving out free PC games each Thursday.
The games in the selection this week have one psychological horror adventure and one turn-based RPG adventure. The duo costs about $45, which should round out someone’s collection well.

Epic Games Store free games for July 16 officially confirmed
Beginning July 16, you can claim the following games for free:
- Luto (Regular price: $19.99)
- Echo Generation: Midnight Edition (Regular price: $24.99)
The giveaway will remain available until July 23, giving users a full week to permanently add both titles to their Epic Games Store library. Combined, the two games are valued at approximately $44.98.
What to expect from Luto and Echo Generation: Midnight Edition
The upcoming free lineup offers two very different experiences.
Luto is a story-driven, explorative psychological horror where the player must solve its puzzle slowly, travelling through environments with a sense of unease that builds steadily as you go.
Meanwhile, Echo Generation: Midnight Edition, a title that’s been sitting with a Strong rating on OpenCritic, and an aggregate of 77 from 33 critic reviews. Echo Generation: Midnight Edition is celebrated as an active-time battle and adventure hybrid game that pays tribute to classic RPG styles.

Current Epic Games Store free games before the July 16 refresh
Before the new giveaway begins, you can still claim the following free games until July 16:
- Nova Lands: $19.99 (Free until July 16)
- Tattoo Tycoon: $29.99 (Free until July 16)
Once the store refreshes on July 16, these two games will be replaced by Luto and Echo Generation: Midnight Edition.
