Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is nearing its official launch date. The game is set to hit PS5 and PC platforms this summer, on August 6. The game made its space in the already crowded and ever-expanding world of fighting games by bringing a nostalgic element of Marvel heroes. Seeing Marvel characters in a 2D-style brawler reminded some gamers of the good old Capcom vs Marvel games. The launch roster is looking packed with beloved heroes and villains from the Marvel universe. To make it even better, the game will soon enter the “Open Beta” phase.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls’ Open Beta Kickoff Date
Marvel Tokon used its official social media account to announce the upcoming open beta date. Both PS5 & PC players will be able to enjoy the game starting on 24th July PT through 26th July PT. There will be other benefits accompanying this pre-launch gameplay testing. For example, all players will be able to play as Blade, alongside other characters on the roster. Marvel Tokon is also adding new stages and modes to give us a fresh head start before we commit to the full version of the game. Since it’s Open Beta, it’s likely that it will be free for all players on PS5 and PC. However, we have yet to receive more official information on this.

The official big launch of the game will take place on August 6, nearly two weeks down the line from the start of the open beta testing. So far, the game has officially revealed 20 playable heroes at launch! A big roster for a brawler, indeed, with Blade as the final face joining the game. However, if more characters join the game in the future, LWOG will keep you covered.
