F1 25 Italy Setup Guide

Published on:

This F1 25 Italy setup guide will detail how best to fine-tune the car for the early tracks on the calendar in this year’s season. Car setups are a common mechanic across F1 and F1 Manager with each track having its own quirks to tune to in order to improve performance. That is why I’ll be going through each track and explaining the best settings to use. F1 25 is the latest addition to the annual EA/Codemasters release and has released on Steam and other sites to a very strong reception from players.

F1 25 Italy Setup Walkthrough – Fastest Laps

Track Dynamics

Imola is an interesting track that requires the right balance in setup. It’s about finding the kind of settings for your car that will handle high speed turns as well as getting traction while coming out of the slower corners on the circuit. Speed will be of less importance overall in favour of a technical setup but it will still come into play at some points.

Aerodynamics

Frong wing aero goes to 39 with rear wing set to 36. Keeps things moving on the straigths without sacrificing too much on the turns.

Transmission

Differential on throttle goes to 100, off throttle is 50 and engine braking is also 50. On-throttle being so high as a reccomendation should tell you how tricky some parts of this track can be, even off-throttle isn’t giving up much stability.

Suspension Geometry

The same settings as usual here. Lowest camber angles both rear and front, 0.0 front toe, 0.1 rear toe.

Suspension

The Suspension settings go as follows:

  • Front Suspension – 41
  • Rear Suspension – 1
  • Front Anti-Roll – 9
  • Rear A-R – 21
  • Front Ride Height – 23
  • Rear Ride Height – 52

The looser rear of the car should make it easier to handle turns, the front of the vehicle takes more of as risk with lower ride-height and much tighter steering generally.

Brakes

Brake pressure is set to 100 with brake bias at 55.

Tyres

In an interesting change there is actually a unique tyre recommendation this time around. Lowest pressure on both sides of the front and lowest pressure on both sides of the back. Trust me, you’ll notice the difference.
