Palia Ancient Fish Tips

The Ancient Fish is one of the rarer catches in the entire game. So rare that it can’t be caught until you’ve beaten a specific quest first. This fish is unavailable until you complete Something’s In The Water, after that it can be caught.

It is only in two locations, one being the Kilima Lake, the other being the much smaller Temple of the Waves which might offer the best spawn rate. You can catch the Ancient Fish at any time of the day but you HAVE TO use a Glow Worm for bait to make sure it works.

Once caught, any extra fish you have can be sold for a whopping 1,200 Gold at least with gold quality ones fetching 1,800 Gold.
