Myth of Empires Fishing Walkthrough

While you can technically start fishing from Level 10 when the Harpoon unlocks, I don’t think anyone wants to fish solely by walking along bodies of water and trying to spear fish. So while that is a viable method, I will be looking at the more routine idea of fishing.

At level 15, you get the recipe for a fishing rod. This can be difficult to build as it requires Copper Bars but once it is made you can also make some bait using a locust and grass. Drag the bait onto the pole to equip it so you can actually catch fish with any regularity.

With the rod in hand, go to some water source, left click where you want to cast and set the power using the power bad that pops up when you hold down the click. When the line starts getting pulled in and the water ripples you have a bit, press the Q key or right-click to reel in the catch.
