Planet Crafter Obsidian Tips

Obsidian is a rare resource that can’t really be obtained by exploring the map. It won’t randomly spawn in when meteors hit and you can’t find it in storage chests, you instead have to go to one very specific location on the map to get any.

You have to go to the Lava Pits and use an Ore Extractor to gain Obsidian. It is located above ground on the darkened sand. This is the only space in the game that I know of that will produce Obsidian, which makes sense given its rarity and use in crafting teleporters.
